Installation of built in shower and converting the airing cupboard and still leaving an airing cupboard accessible from the landing

Thank you for the opportunity to quote for the work to install a shower in the existing airing cupboard and make the remaining space into a small airing cupboard with the cupboard door reversed. One of the priorities would be the entry to the shower is floor level (not raised). The use of a stone resin tray will assist this and provide great strength and a solid base to stand on. Below I have listed the stages of the work.

1. Locates route for waste. Week before installation.
2. Doorway is cut into the wall to provide access into the shower area.
3. A wall is constructed and the door reversed on the airing cupboard and the cupboard is shelved. Day 1
4. The shower base is installed 800x1200 white. Day 2
5. Mira thermostatic shower is installed in chrome and white. Day 3
6. Extractor fan and light are installed. Day 3
7. Tiling carried out. Day 4 & 5
8. Glass door is installed. Airing cupboard helves and door reversed. Day 6
9. Radiator is replaced with new radiator under the towel rail 450x600 double panel. Day 7
10. Shower room cleaned and left tidy. All items of remaining rubbish are removed and taken away. Day 7
11. The work would take around a week to complete and could commence in four to six weeks.
    

 

Total cost excluding vat £2890.
Deposit of £1000 required with the order, which can be paid on credit card or cheque. Final payment is upon completion.

Installation of built in shower to include the removal non structural wall between existing toilet and bathroom.

Thank you for the opportunity to quote for the work to install your own shower, basin and toilet. The wall between the toilet and the bathroom will be removed and our professional plasterer will over tack the ceiling with 15mm moisture proof gyproc. The ceiling will then be plaster skimmed. The walls will be made good for your own tiler. Below I have listed the stages of the work.

 

1. Removal of existing sanitary ware. Other than toilet. Day 1
2. Builder and plaster. All rubbish removed. Day 2
3. New toilet installed. Day 3.
4. The shower base is installed. Day 3
5. Mira thermostatic shower is installed in chrome. Day 3
6. All plumbing installed. Points left for basin. Day 3
7. Shower room is left for your tiler
8. Invicta Gas returns for the completion (basin & screen and towel rail). Day 4

As you can see the work would take four days. However the duration of time between days 3 & 4 would need to be advised. The work is fully guaranteed for 12 months. The sanitary ware that you are supplying would need to be on site for day 1. The job could commence in four to six weeks.
