It is a legal requirement for Landlords to ensure that tenanted properties have annual inspections of gas appliances, fittings and flues. The Landlord Gas Safety Certification ensures lives are not put at risk by fire, explosion or carbon monoxide poisoning. Landlord Gas Safety Certificates can only be issued by corgi registered engineers and are valid for a year.

• Check burner pressure/gas rate against manufacturers data plate
• Check for satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation

• Check for physical stability, presence and effectiveness of stability brackets
• Investigate any evidence of unsafe operation and report to a responsible person.
