How long will I have to wait?

Many fires and surrounds can be installed within the month or sooner. However we do a large selection of made to your design and these would normally take two months.

Are your engineers Corgi Registered?

Yes and we will issue the appliance notification, which is a legal requirement sine April 2005.

 

Do you have a showroom where I can see the products?

 

Yes, Invicta Gas has a showroom at 28 Oxford Street in Whitstable; here you can see fires, cookers, hobs, ovens, hoods and much more on display. We also have experienced sales staff to help answer all your queries. Our showrooms are open Monday to Saturday between 9am to 5pm.

 

Can you arrange installation?

 

As Corgi Registered engineers we can install all your gas appliance and we can fit all your electric appliance along with any fire surrounds, bathrooms and radiators you may choice.

 

Can I install a gas fire myself?

 

Unless you are a corgi registered engineer you are unable to install any gas appliance yourself.

 

What if I do not know what type of chimney/flue?

 

You could use the description outlined in the fire section of our website to identify the chimney, however the only fully reliable way to establish the chimney type is to have a surveyor conducted by one of our fully qualified Corgi Engineers.

 

What if I know what product I want but it is not listed on your web site?

What make of boilers do you install?

 

We generally install Worcester Bosch Boilers, as we are an accredited installer for these particular boilers we can offer a longer guarantee. However we are able to install other manufacturer’s boilers.

 

How long will it take to service my boiler?

 

A boiler service normally takes between 45mins to an hour.

 

What does Power Flushing entail?

 

Power flushing is the most efficient and effective method of cleansing a central heating system. The principle is to create a powerful fresh water flow under controlled conditions to remove debris from the system. By connecting the power flushing unit to the heating circuit in place of system pump, boiler or radiator the circuit can be thoroughly cleansed of limescale and corrosion debris. The power flushing process is enhanced with the addition of cleansing and mobilising agents, such as Magnaclean.

 

How do I know if my system needs a Power Flush?

 

Common tell tell signs of limescale and corrosion debris are noisy boilers and cold spots on radiators.
